mea Platform, a GenAI-powered global platform that aims to simplify insurance processes, has appointed former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of XL Group (now AXA XL), Mike McGavick, as Board Chairman and Strategic Advisor to drive growth.

McGavick is an industry veteran and also the former Chairman, President, and CEO of Safeco Insurance. In the past, he has served as Chairman of the Geneva Association and the American Insurance Association, earning a reputation for reshaping organisations and advocating for industry-wide improvements.

His appointment aligns with the firm’s commitment to simplify insurance information flow, helping businesses operate smarter and grow more profitably.

Currently, McGavick serves as Co-Chair of the Operating Board of Directors at Bridgewater Associates.
