International reinsurer Arundo Re has announced the appointment of Guillaume Bergot as Non-Life Underwriter for the French, Belgian and Luxembourg markets.

With over a decade of experience in the reinsurance industry, Bergot is joining Arundo Re from Gallagher Re, where he most recently served as Reinsurance broker, a role he held for almost four years.

Prior to his tenure at Gallagher Re, he spent seven years at Guy Carpenter and before that over a year at AXA, having served as an Actuarial Analyst for both companies.

In these roles, he provided crucial support to insurers in the structuring of their reinsurance programs, operating both within France and on an international scale, and addressing a comprehensive array of risk exposures.

Thanks to these experiences, Bergot developed in-depth knowledge of the French market, as well as technical expertise in modeling, pricing and risk analysis.
