Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Aspera Sigorta ve Reas\u00fcrans Brokerli\u011fi A.\u015e. (Aspera), an insurance and reinsurance brokerage firm based in Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye, in an undisclosed transaction.<\/p>\n

\"ArthurAspera specialises in clients operating in sectors including energy & power, industrial property, financial lines, construction, and aviation & space.<\/p>\n

Founding partner Evrim \u00d6zko\u00e7 and the broking team will continue with the business. They will operate under the leadership of G\u00fcnd\u00fcz Tezel, who heads Gallagher’s operations in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n

“Aspera is a highly regarded firm whose market expertise will enhance our existing brokerage capabilities in T\u00fcrkiye,” said J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., Chairman and CEO. “I am very pleased to welcome Evrim and his associates to our growing, global team.”<\/p>\n

This acquisition is part of Gallagher\u2019s ongoing expansion strategy. Some of its recent acquisitions include California-based Cornerstone<\/a> and Florida\u2019s The John Galt Insurance Agency.<\/a><\/p>\n
